Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager in Los Angeles to serve as the senior owner's rep during early project phases for fulfillment centers and related facilities. You will autonomously manage multi-disciplinary preconstruction programs, drive budgeting, and coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, and external partners across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years as Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or related roles.
• 7+ years of PM experience from design through operation.
• Experience with packaging/processing or logistical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage complex pre-construction projects from site selection through design completion and contract execution.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Finance, and Construction, and with external architects, engineers, developers, and AHJs.
• Oversee design management end-to-end, including evaluations, conformance reviews, and value engineering.
• Own project budgets, perform estimating, and forecast cashflow.
• Lead external partner selection, contract negotiations, and procurement.
• Mentor preconstruction managers and develop team playbooks and processes.
