Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager for GES NA Design & Construction. This role leads cross-functional planning, budgeting, and design validation for industrial projects across multiple locations, ensuring permits, timelines, and cost targets are met.

You will partner with Real Estate, Design Engineering, and external vendors, manage KPIs, and drive risk analysis to support a successful handoff to Construction.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects.
• Ability to develop budgets, schedules, and cashflow forecasts.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Ability to review design and construction contracts and permits.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Lead site selection, scope development, and design management—coordinating with design teams to develop site plans and compliance with standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent large industrial projects across locations.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and cashflow forecasts; perform conceptual estimating and pricing reviews.
• Review contracts, exhibits, and lease agreements; provide detailed technical analyses.
• Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
