Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to act as Amazon's owner’s representative during the preconstruction phase.

You will independently manage complex industrial projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to meet scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science.
• 5+ years of project management experience

Responsibilities

• Interface with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to ensure regulatory compliance and permitting.
• Independently manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection to design completion and contract execution.
• Lead site selection, design management, and scope development across multiple locations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of project management experience
