Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager for the Advanced Facilities Group in Austin, TX. You will lead the preconstruction process, develop budgets, and present estimates to clients, coordinating with operations and design teams to drive project profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in construction management or related field and 10+ years of estimating experience, with strong MS Office and estimating software skills.

Qualifications

BA/BS in construction management, engineering or related field (Required) or equivalent experience.
10+ years in construction estimating with leadership experience.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and estimating software.

Responsibilities

Lead overall preconstruction process to deliver comprehensive bids and budgets.
Develop project win strategies and present estimates to clients.
Oversee cross-functional teams and ensure successful preconstruction execution.
Manage client and design-team relationships during preconstruction.
Contribute to self-perform estimating and develop conceptual budgets.
Review project profitability and risk with stakeholders.
