Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Estimating Manager 1 for our Advanced Facilities team. You will prepare complex cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposals, and manage scopes of work with vendors and subcontractors.

You’ll coordinate pricing, documentation, and bid day summaries. You will collaborate with operations and field staff to find economical build methods, mentor teammates, and contribute to project profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction-related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals.
• Develops scopes of work for all trades and coordinates bid solicitation.
• Tracks value creation items and documents in project documentation.
• Works with operations and field staff to improve constructability and profitability.
