Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group is seeking a Senior Precon and Estimating Manager to lead the preconstruction process for large-scale Industrial, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will drive bids, budgets, and win strategies while managing client and design-team relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction management or related field and 10+ years of estimating experience, with strong leadership and MS Office/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years construction estimating experience; people management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads overall preconstruction process to deliver competitive bids, negotiated proposals, cost estimates, analysis and budgets.
• Prepares and executes project win strategies by presenting estimates and proposals to support business development.
• Oversees project teams and ensures successful preconstruction execution.
• Manages relationships with key clients and design teams during preconstruction.
• Capable of performing estimating tasks including self-perform estimating.
• Creates conceptual budgets and reports accurate project cost histories.
• Collaborates with operations on risk assessments, scoring and completion.
• Reviews project business plans with stakeholders to ensure profitability.
• Promotes diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.
