Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Precon and Estimating Manager to provide leadership for the preconstruction process across high-profile industrial and manufacturing projects.

You will oversee bids, proposals and budgets, lead internal/external presentations, and manage client and design-team relationships to ensure profitable project outcomes. Strong Excel, estimating software, and collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field required (or equivalent experience).
• At least 10+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as needed.
• Ability to perform estimating tasks, including self-perform estimating, and create conceptual budgets.

Responsibilities

• Leads overall preconstruction process, delivering competitive bids, negotiated proposals, cost estimates and budgets.
• Prepares for interviews and leads presentations of estimates and proposals to support business development.
• Oversees project teams to ensure successful preconstruction execution.
• Manages relationships with key clients and design team contacts during preconstruction.
• Develops general requirements estimates and reviews project cost history.
