Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead quality control programs for precast and prestressed products. You will prepare plants for PCI audits, supervise inspectors, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

The role requires PCI Level III certification, 6+ years of relevant QC experience, and effective communication with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
