Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to act as the senior precast quality authority across plants and projects.

You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with engineers of record. Travel to multiple plants is required.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits; credibility with plant managers and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
