Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Concrete Inspector III to be the quality authority across plants and projects. You will establish QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits and DOT approvals, and supervise Level I and II inspectors while guiding supplier qualification and audit processes.

The role requires a current PCI Level III certification with 6+ years in precast/prestressed QC, and the ability to work with plant managers, engineers, and DOT inspectors.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
