Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior authority on precast and prestressed quality, establishing plant QC programs, guiding PCI audits, and resolving structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

You will supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, and drive continuous improvement while traveling to plants per project needs; a PCI Level III certification is required, with 6+ years of relevant QC

Qualifications

• Senior-level QC authority for precast and prestressed products.
• Certification Level III required with 6+ years in QC and supervision.
• Familiar with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance issues with the EOR.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
