Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs and prepare facilities for PCI audits and DOT approvals. You will resolve complex acceptance questions with the engineer of record and supervise Level I/II inspectors across multiple plants.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years in precast QC, with strong knowledge of PCI standards and DOT specs. Travel between plants and audits is expected.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit; credible with plant managers and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
