Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QA programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

You will audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, supervise Level I and II inspectors across sites, and travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• PCI QC Level III certification current, with 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits; credible with plant managers and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
