Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead the quality control program at multiple plants, preparing for PCI and DOT audits, and supervising Level I and II inspectors.

The role requires PCI QC Certification Level III with 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC, including supervision, plus strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs. Travel between plants is expected.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals
• Lead the corrective actions
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies
• Qualify precast suppliers
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects
