Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across projects.

The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III with 6+ years in precast QC, knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs, and experience hosting audits.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification with 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC, including supervision.
• Knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
