Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Inspector III to act as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare for PCI and DOT audits, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of experience, and strong familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specifications.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III (current) with 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
