Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector to lead quality programs, audits, and supplier qualification across multiple plants. You will resolve structural questions on prestressed products and prepare facilities for PCI certification and DOT approvals.

The role requires PCI QC Level III and 6+ years in precast QC, including supervision, with strong communication to plant managers and DOT inspectors. Travel between plants is involved.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead the corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
