Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to be the senior quality authority for prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and resolve complex structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

You will lead corrective actions, audit supplier plants, and supervise Level I and II inspectors. Travel between plants for project audits and per diem support is expected while ensuring compliance with PCI

Qualifications

• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.
• Experience leading audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers; supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
