Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to serve as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish and maintain plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions in collaboration with the engineer of record.

You will audit supplier plants, qualify precast suppliers, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants and projects, ensuring compliance with PCI and DOT

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits; lead the corrective actions
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies
• Qualify precast suppliers; supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects
