Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead quality control across plant operations, develop QC manuals, and drive PCI certification readiness. You will coordinate audits, resolve prestressed issues with the engineer of record, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers; supervise Level I and II inspectors.
