Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Precast Inspector III to serve as the quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare facilities for PCI certification audits, and lead corrective actions with engineers of record.

You will audit supplier plants and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple facilities. You must hold PCI QC Level III with 6+ years’ experience, and must be credible with plant managers and DOT inspectors.

Qualifications

• Current PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions; resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
