Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead quality control across plants, prepare facilities for PCI certification audits, and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products. You will audit supplier plants for owners and agencies and supervise junior inspectors.'

You will travel between plants to enforce standards, manage corrective actions, and ensure compliance with PCI and DOT requirements while mentoring Level I and II inspectors.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals meeting PCI and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
