Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Precast Inspector III to lead quality for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare for PCI audits, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants.

The role requires PCI Level III certification and 6+ years of relevant experience, with strong collaboration with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors, plus travel between plants as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III QC certification current and in good standing.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specifications.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
