Job summary

LR Squared is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer in Los Angeles to articulate customer business challenges and tailor storage solutions. You will work with sales teams to demonstrate the value of our DAS/NAS/SAN offerings and lead technical engagements throughout the sales cycle.

You will drive evaluations, benchmarks, and architecture presentations, translating requirements into innovative deployments while collaborating with product and marketing to position LR Squared against

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience in data storage/data management.
• Experience selling to enterprise storage, networking, cloud or software.
• Deep understanding of multi-tier client/server architectures.
• Experience with NFS, Linux, and distributed storage environments.
• Familiarity with cloud providers and containerization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making.
• Connect technology solutions to measurable customer outcomes across our portfolio and ecosystem.
• Partner with account managers and partners to drive revenue growth and new business.
• Present technical product and architecture options to customers to secure the technical win.
• Capture requirements and translate business needs into innovative storage solutions.
• Lead/author responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and contribute to interoperability testing.
