Job summary

Everpure (formerly Pure Storage) is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join our team and help shape the data storage landscape. You’ll partner with the sales organization to tailor solutions and demonstrate value to customers.

You’ll own evaluations, benchmarks, and configurations, build technical presentations, and translate business needs into innovative storage architectures across DAS, NAS, SAN, and cloud environments. Collaboration with teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales experience is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise storage, networking, or cloud.
• Deep understanding of multi-tier client/server and web-based computing.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture (LAMP, microservices, AWS well-architected).
• Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Strong knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN).
• Experience with Linux, NFS, and distributed network environments.
• Understanding of virtualization, provisioning, and container tech.
• Knowledge of VMware, networking basics (TCP/IP).
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of customer business drivers and decision making.
• Connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes across Everpure portfolio.
• Partner with account managers to drive revenue growth and new business.
• Lead evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations for customers.
• Deliver technical product and architecture presentations to win the technical deal.
• Capture requirements and translate business needs into innovative storage solutions.
