Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support State, Local Government and K-12 accounts across Northern New Jersey. This remote/teleworker role partners with Territory Managers to design end-to-end networking solutions and win deals.

You will deliver presentations, demos, and PoCs, write architecture recommendations, and stay current on networking trends. Travel to customer sites may be required, with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, CS, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in infrastructure, systems engineering, or pre-sales for enterprise networking.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to turn technical requirements into practical business solutions.
• Willingness to travel in Northern New Jersey territory or remote role.

Responsibilities

• Work with TMs to qualify and close opportunities.
• Design end-to-end networking solutions against customer requirements.
• Deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and PoCs.
• Write technical proposals and architecture recommendations.
• Position HPE against competitors on technical and business value.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Support channel and demand-gen activity in the territory.
• Stay current on networking technology and competitive trends.
• Support complex deals from discovery through deployment.
