Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for Northern New Jersey. The role is remote/teleworker and focuses on supporting State, Local Government, and K-12 accounts across NJ, partnering with Territory Managers to design solutions and win deals.

You will present, demo, and propose architectures, translate requirements into business outcomes, and travel to client sites as needed within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, CS, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in infrastructure, systems engineering, or pre-sales for enterprise networking.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Territory Managers to qualify and close opportunities.
• Design end-to-end networking solutions against customer requirements.
• Deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and PoCs.
• Write technical proposals and architecture recommendations.
• Position HPE against competitors on technical and business value.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Support channel and demand-gen activity in the territory.
• Stay current on networking technology and competitive trends.
• Support complex deals from discovery through deployment.
