Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for Networking in the South Florida region. You will lead pre-sales technical and functional support for Global Major Accounts, presenting HPE Network solutions and differentiating them from competitors.

The role requires expert knowledge of campus and distributed branch networks, solution selling, and collaboration with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering and successful pre-sales support preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to design and manage complex technical solutions.
• Ability to interface with senior levels of internal/external organizations.
• Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge.
• Routing, switching, and networking security expertise.
• NAC experience with Clearpass, ISE, Cloud NAC, Juniper Access Assurance.
• Wireless design, deployment, and troubleshooting experience.
• Pre- and post-wireless site survey knowledge (Ekahau or Hamina).
• CWNA, CWDP, CWSP knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected Global Major accounts in territory.
• Provide optimal hardware, software, and services solutions for complex needs.
• Develop bids, proposals, and presentations to prospects.
• Deliver technical and sales support within the territory.
• Present technical solutions to customers, partners, and prospects.
• Manage channel partners to drive business and demand generation events.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.
• Provide consultative support to stakeholders in the territory.
• Use in-depth product knowledge for technical demonstrations and sales pitches.
• Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex solutions.
• Build proofs of concept based on customer requirements.
