Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for HPE Networking to lead pre-sales support in South Florida. You will work with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities, craft tailored network solutions, and present them to customers and partners in a remote/telework setup.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in infrastructure engineering with strong Aruba/Juniper Mist networking knowledge, routing, security, and wireless design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering and pre-sales support experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to design and manage complex solutions.
• Ability to interface with senior levels of internal/external organizations.
• Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge.
• Routing and switching technologies.
• Networking Security.
• NAC experience - Clearpass, ISE, Cloud NAC, Juniper Access Assurance.
• Wireless design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Pre and post wireless site survey knowledge - Ekahau or Hamina.
• CWNA, CWDP, CWSP knowledge level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected (Global Major) accounts in assigned territory.
• Provide the optimum combination of hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer needs.
• Play a role in the development of bids, proposals, and presentations of solutions to prospects.
• Deliver technical presentations to customers, partners, and potential prospects.
• Manage channel partners to help drive business and deliver demand generation events.
• Develop account relationships to sustain advice and identify opportunities; maintain a sales pipeline and forecasts.
• Provide consultative support to stakeholders in the territory.
• Use in-depth product knowledge to support sales staff and customers with demonstrations and design specs.
• Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.
• Build proof of concept based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility.
