Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for HPE Networking in Southern California. This remote/telework role focuses on managing pre-sales technical support for Global Major accounts, presenting HPE networking capabilities against competitors, and driving solution-driven discussions with Territory Managers.

Applicants should have 10+ years in infrastructure engineering with strong communication and consultative skills, plus extensive Aruba or Juniper Mist

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering and pre-sales experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected (Global Major) accounts in assigned territory.
• Provide the optimum combination of hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer needs.
• Deliver technical presentations to customers, partners, and potential prospects.
• Develop account relationships and maintain a sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.
• Build a proof of concept based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility.
