Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manager, Pre-Sales in Illinois to accelerate complex software deals by delivering compelling demonstrations and shaping customer requirements. You will work across direct client engagements, partner opportunities and industry events to drive pipeline conversion.

Responsibilities include end-to-end pre‑sales support, client workshops, RFP responses, and developing reusable assets. Travel may be required 0–80% depending on client needs and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of pre‑sales, solution consulting or technical sales support experience in enterprise software.
• Minimum 8+ years of enterprise software delivery models and integration approaches.
• Minimum 12 months of demonstrated experience supporting pre‑sales for AI‑native software products.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre‑sales support and solution delivery across opportunities, including discovery, demos, RFP responses, and proposal preparation.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations to mid‑level and senior client stakeholders, translating features into business value.
• Facilitate client workshops to identify requirements, validate fit and shape the solution approach.
• Prepare written responses to RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires with product, legal and delivery teams.
• Support proof‑of‑concept engagements; document outcomes and feed learnings to the pre‑sales playbook.
• Partner and event support: assist channel/technology partners, deliver demos at industry events, capture leads.
• Asset development: maintain reusable pre‑sales materials like demo scripts, blueprints, battle cards and ROI templates.
• Collaboration and reporting: align with sales leadership, maintain records, and contribute to win/loss reviews.
