Qualifikationen
- 7+ years of welding automation, pre-sales engineering, or robotic systems integration experience.
- Strong understanding of GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG welding processes and metallurgy.
- Proficiency in CAD for cell layouts using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
- US Citizenship or Green Card and able to commute to Pewaukee, WI within 45 minutes.
Aufgaben
- Lead technical feasibility reviews during pre-sales and evaluate parts and drawings.
- Architect welding automation concepts and select processes, tooling, and cell layouts.
- Develop technical proposals with layouts, cycle times, labor hours, and BOMs.
- Coordinate weld sample evaluations and process trials for feasibility testing.
- Travel to customer facilities (~15% domestically/internationally) for requirements and reviews.
- Ensure weld processes meet AWS D1.1, ASME IX, and customer specs.
