Job summary

Marga Consulting LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the Sales team with pre-sales technical expertise and value-driven presentations in the Dallas area.

You will partner with Account Managers and the Regional Director to identify customer needs, develop technical strategies, and win opportunities. Travel 40-50% is expected, with strong presentation and competitive differentiation skills to close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Software Eng is required.
• Minimum 10 years IT experience and 7 years in pre-sales/engineering roles.
• Proven ability to understand customer challenges and propose solutions.
• Strong pre-sales track record and ability to work with sales teams.
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments and networking concepts.
• Region-specific cultural/business experience is critical.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers and Regional Director to develop business and technical strategies.
• Assess prospect needs and help craft strategies to win business.
• Support sales teams in tactical decisions and competitive positioning.
• Deliver PoCs and conduct on-site or remote product demonstrations.
• Lead whiteboard sessions and present solutions to customers, resellers, and integrators.
• Travel within territory 40-50% with a laptop.
