Job summary

Technologent is seeking an IT Security Pre-Sales Engineer in Dallas to help customers identify cybersecurity needs and shape practical, scalable solutions. You will partner with the sales organization to connect security requirements, business priorities, and risk-management objectives with technology and services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or related customer-facing role.
• Experience in security architectures across multiple domains.
• Strong presentation and communication with technical and executive audiences.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001 and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and translate requirements into architecture and recommendations.
• Present recommendations and support opportunities from qualification through close.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery teams and partners on workshops and POCs.
• Design scalable security architectures across SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, Zero Trust, cloud.
• Provide RFP/RFI responses and security questionnaires as needed.
• Advise on roadmaps, gaps, modernization, and governance considerations.
