Job summary

Impact is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer – Managed IT to partner with Solutions Architects, Sales, and Security Consultants. You will assess client environments, translate business and technical needs into practical IT solutions, and help hand off to implementation.

The role emphasizes Windows Server, virtualization, storage, networking, IAM, and cloud technologies. You will design solutions, prepare proposals and statements of work, and present findings to both technical and business stakeholders

Qualifications

Five or more years in IT infrastructure, networking, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, storage, networking, and security.
Experience in pre-sales, with ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, identity management, and Group Policy.
Ability to create proposals, diagrams, quotes, and statements of work.

Responsibilities

Assess client environments and translate needs into scalable IT solutions.
Develop technical recommendations across Windows, virtualization, storage, networking, and security.
Design managed IT solutions aligned with client requirements and internal standards.
Create accurate proposals, diagrams, quotes, cost estimates, and statements of work.
Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders and enable smooth handoffs to delivery.
