Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in the Bay Area seeks a pre‑sales engineer to partner with Account Executives and Google Enterprise stakeholders. You will translate complex customer requirements into precise engineering plans, drive design alignment, and help expand and support a global network infrastructure.

This role influences Cisco’s next‑gen hardware and software roadmaps and requires strong communication, collaboration across geographies, and a track record in enterprise networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of technical customer-facing experience, preferably pre-sales.
• Technical knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, industry trends, and market drivers.
• 2+ years experience supporting large and complex customer environments involving multiple stakeholders, geographies, and/or technology domains.
• 2+ years of experience preparing technical presentations and conducting demonstrations for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives in a pre‑sales technical role to meet Google Enterprise’s needs.
• Drive design alignment between customer and Cisco stakeholders to expand and support their global network infrastructure.
• Translate complex customer requirements into engineering-specific documents to drive feature planning and product development.
• Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
• Keep up to date on relevant competitors’ solutions, products, and services.
