Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer with Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Automation, and Cloud background in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You will partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales role to deliver demonstrations, BoMs, and PoC activities, aligning Cisco solutions with customer business goals. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the field, Cisco experience, and strong presentation skills, with relocation to the SF Bay Area encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis is required.
• CCNP or CCIE (preferred).
• BS/BA (EE/CS) or relevant experience.
• Customer intimacy skills; Pre-sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as technology solution consultant to the customer and Cisco account team.
• Collaborate with Account Manager on account planning activities.
• Educate the customer on Cisco differentiation and create demand.
• Set a brand preference to Cisco.
• Align Cisco product and services capabilities to customer business drivers.
