Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is hiring a Solutions Engineer to join our US Commercial team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The SE will partner with Account Executives, deliver technical demonstrations, build BoMs, and run PoCs to design solutions that meet customer outcomes.

The role requires strong pre-sales skills, deep Cisco product knowledge or equivalent, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. A BS/BA in EE/CS or related field is preferred, with relocation to the Bay Area supported

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• Experience with Cisco products or relevant competitor offerings in the technology area of emphasis is required.
• CCNP or CCIE preferred.
• BS/BA (EE/CS) or relevant experience may satisfy the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Act as technology solution consultant to Cisco account teams and customers.
• Demonstrate Cisco solutions via presentations, demos, and PoCs.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on account planning and demand creation.
• Educate customers on Cisco differentiation and align capabilities to business drivers.
