Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer / BAS Programmer to support advanced building automation and controls systems development. This role combines programming, system integration, and troubleshooting to optimize building performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in programming BAS/DDC systems and strong HVAC systems knowledge. The position allows for remote work with some travel, and offers a detailed benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and commissioning BAS/DDC systems in commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and mechanical system operation.
• Ability to read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and commission BAS/DDC control programs for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Support startup, commissioning, functional testing, and troubleshooting activities both remotely and onsite.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, installers, and service teams throughout project execution.
