Job summary

Duvo Inc. is seeking a senior pre-sales engineer to own the technical story in deals, run workshops with customer ops and IT, and design pilots that convert interest into signed contracts.

You will work with Account Executives in your region and hand off to Forward Deployed Engineering once a pilot is signed. You will shape the pre-sales playbook for the team, operate across ERP integrations, portals, and data workflows, and collaborate closely with product and engineering as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, applied AI, enterprise automation or forward-deployed work selling or delivering into enterprise ops, IT, or finance buyers.
• Hands-on with modern AI systems — LLMs, agentic workflows, tool use, evaluation and practical limits.
• Strong process discovery and systems thinking for unfamiliar operations.
• Comfortable with APIs, JSON, webhooks, SQL, and light Python or JavaScript.
• Strong commercial judgment to size value and spot buying signals.
• Excellent communication across operators, architects and executives.
• Fluent English. Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery and process mapping with customer teams and turn it into a pilot scope with a Definition of Done.
• Connect the proposed solution to measurable business outcomes like margin, availability, working capital, revenue, or cycle time.
• Build and demo pilots against the customer workflow and data shape.
• Own the technical evaluation: security review, integration sizing, RFPs, architecture questions, IT objections.
• Guide customers through early platform testing and issue resolution.
• Push back on scope or timelines when needed.
• Stay in the deal through pilot delivery and hand off to engineering.
• Build reusable demo assets, runbooks and discovery patterns.
