Job summary

Databricks is seeking experienced pre-sales professionals to drive data-driven transformations for large Retail/CPG accounts. You will work with AEs, define technical strategy, and lead adoption of Databricks solutions.

You will guide proofs of concept and build technical champions within client organizations. You should have substantial pre-sales experience, strong big data and cloud skills, and production coding in Python/Java/Scala.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience working very large ($1m ARR) in Retail and CPG space.
• 4+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• Ability to drive data-driven business transformation.
• 3+ years in design/implementation in big data tech such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP and OLAP or full lifecycle data science.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification.

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical voice for up to 9 clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey adopting Databricks.
• Implement the technical strategy in the account.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members.
