Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced pre-sales professional to serve as the technical voice for our Retail and CPG accounts in the United States. You will shape the technical strategy, guide customers through transformation, and collaborate with AEs to expand adoption of the Databricks Data + AI Platform.

You have deep experience in big data, cloud, and data science, with hands-on skills in Python/Scala/Java and a track record of building PoCs and leading data-driven initiatives for large

Qualifications

8+ years in very large (> $1m ARR) Retail & CPG space.
4+ years pre-sales or sales support.
Technical in big data, data science, and cloud.
4+ years of design/implementation in big data tech (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP) or full data science lifecycle.
Production data systems experience.
Programming: Python, R, Scala, or Java.
Databricks Certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

Be the main technical voice for 1–5 clients.
Lead customers on a transformational journey adopting Databricks.
Implement the technical strategy in the account.
Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
Provide mentorship for other team members.
