Job summary

Databricks seeks experienced pre-sales professionals to define and direct the technical strategy for our largest accounts, driving broader adoption of ML and AI. You will collaborate with a team to build proofs of concept and demonstrations while staying technically hands-on in big data, data science and cloud environments.

You will lead transformational customer journeys, advocating Databricks solutions, mentoring peers, and aligning strategies with business value.

Qualifications

• Proficient in establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within high-value accounts.
• Experience with very large, global accounts (> $1M ARR).
• Ability to form relationships with executives and influencers.
• Able to present a compelling viewpoint to decision-makers to drive engagement.
• Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud.
• Data-driven business transformation experience.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks across multiple clients.
• Guide customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy.
• Implement the technical strategy within each account and align with overall goals.
• Build a network of technical champions within the accounts.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide mentorship for other team members and contribute insights.
• Earn respect of peers through experience and contributions.
