Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–11 years in customer-facing roles, with 5–7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software
• 3+ years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or common programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem
• Ability to review complex architecture with customers and provide optimization guidance
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and business leadership
• Ability to strategize with sales teams and coordinate MongoDB resources for an account plan
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications, systems and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, clearly communicating business value
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive account success through planning, qualification and pipeline strategy
• Proactively generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives and events
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure customer success and satisfaction
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay updated on MongoDB products and industry trends
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development
