Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Hospitalist Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of physician practices across multiple locations. This role requires coordinating front and back office functions, travel between sites, and occasional work from home.

The candidate will supervise staff, develop the practice budget, monitor revenue metrics, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering high patient satisfaction and collaborating with physicians and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a physician practice setting with 2 years in practice management.
• Preferred CPPM certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of physician practices including front and back office functions.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Develop and monitor the practice budget and revenue cycle metrics.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and address complaints.
• Collaborate with physicians and leadership to achieve organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Travel frequently between locations; occasional work from home as needed.
