Zusammenfassung

WSP is actively seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Experienced P&C Field Services Technician to support projects across multiple states, including Virginia. You will perform protection and control testing on HV substations and on-site relay testing using Omicron and Doble equipment, while documenting findings with digital tools.

You will also mentor junior technicians, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with field teams and project leadership to meet schedules and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Experience in electrical testing for HV substations and protective relays.
• Ability to operate relay test equipment (Omicron CMC 256/356, Doble F6150).
• Familiarity with IEEE, NETA, NFPA testing standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and document field observations.

Aufgaben

• Perform testing and commissioning tasks for Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations.
• Operate relay test sets and test equipment to verify protections.
• Document site activities using field forms and digital tools.
• Support field teams and mentor junior technicians on safety and quality.
