WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Experienced P&C Field Services Technician for projects in Texas and Louisiana. You will perform testing and commissioning of Protection and Control systems in high‑voltage substations, industrial facilities, and bulk power networks.

You will conduct on‑site relay testing with Omicron and Doble equipment, document activities using field forms and mobile apps, support field teams, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety and regulatory

Qualificações

• 7+ years in electrical testing including HV substations.
• Experience with transmission, generation and distribution relays.
• Knowledge of protective schemes and relay calibration with test sets.
• Experience complying with NETA, IEEE, NFPA standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and document results.
• Strong field safety, data integrity, and teamwork mindset.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs, up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and field excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Perform testing and commissioning on Protection and Control systems in HV substations.
• Conduct on-site relay testing using Omicron/CMS and Doble equipment.
• Document field activities with forms and mobile tools.
• Maintain equipment, logs, and calibration records.
• Support Project Lead and field supervision; mentor junior technicians.
• Escalate complex issues; participate in daily safety briefings.
