Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Sr. Power System Planning & Study Engineer to lead the Power Delivery study team in the USA. The role involves coordinating planning and feasibility studies, interconnection studies, and transient analyses for North American clients, with periodic international work.

You will collaborate with Substation, Transmission, Protection & Control, and Renewables teams while supporting cross-unit opportunities. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of direct experience in power system study analysis and planning.
• Proficiency with PSS/E and PSCAD; experience with PSLF, DigSILENT, DSA Tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and deliver complex power system study & planning projects for diverse clients.
• Perform load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, electromagnetic transient analyses, and system impact studies.
• Deliver planning studies and transient studies meeting industry standards and good engineering practice.
• QA on client reports and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Arcadis units for cross-staffing and proposals.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
