Arcadis is seeking a Principal System Planning and Studies Engineer to lead the Power Delivery & Renewables team in North America. You will oversee system planning, interconnection studies, and HVDC/HVAC analyses, while coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines and clients to deliver robust grid solutions.

Required are a PE license, 12+ years of experience in power system planning, and proficiency with PSCAD and PSS/E.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and grow System Planning & Studies team, ensure resource planning and quality reviews.
• Perform and coordinate HVAC and HVDC power systems analysis including load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, electromagnetic transient, small-signal stability, reliability studies, interconnection studies, system impact studies.
• Lead development of enhanced planning processes, methodologies and tools for quality and efficiency.
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, Program Manager, Account Manager and Technical Lead to support services and business growth.
• Mentor junior engineers, perform QA/QC, participate in client meetings, and support business development and project execution.
• Collaborate with PD&R Leader on development plans, client development, account growth, resource planning, and financial performance.
• Travel up to 20% to client sites and meetings in North America and possibly internationally.
