Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Sr. Power System Planning & Study Engineer to join the Power Delivery team in the USA. You will coordinate the Power System Planning & Study group and perform HVAC/HVDC planning, interconnection studies, transient analysis, and system investigations for North American clients.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years in power system study, proficiency in PSS/E/PSCad, and knowledge of NA grid operators. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 8+ years in power system study analysis and planning.
• Proficiency with PSS/E/PSCad and related tools; NA market policies familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex power system study and planning projects.
• Perform load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and related analyses.
• Carry out planning and transient studies for standards compliance.
• Produce reports and client deliverables with high quality and constructability.
• QA client reports; coordinate with Arcadis units for cross-selling.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals; travel up to 25%.
